During the academic year 2024–2025, students from the Computer Engineering Department at Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering undertook internships as an integral part of their academic curriculum and career development. These internships, typically lasting between 2 to 6 months, allowed students to work on real-world projects in domains such as software development, machine learning, full-stack web development, data analytics, DevOps, and cybersecurity. Final year students continued with internship from January 2025 for 6 months. Many students interned at reputed companies like TCS, Accenture , IITB and several emerging startups through college-industry partnerships and off campus. The internships provided valuable hands-on experience with industry-standard tools .Students not only enhanced their technical proficiency but also developed workplace skills such as project planning, teamwork, and professional communication. The experience also helped several students receive pre-placement offers and gain clarity about their career paths. Overall, the internship experience proved to be a vital stepping stone in transitioning from campus to corporate life.
